What is a NAC and How do I fit in?

According to the official Beaverton City website, "The City of Beaverton strongly believes that public involvement in City government is important to creating a strong, safe, and livable City."  One way to achieve and involve residents is through the 13 Neighborhood Association Committees (NACs). NACs provide citizens with the opportunity to meet and discuss issues that are important to their neighborhoods such as land use, traffic, and development issues. Therefore, the NAC is one of our main methods of communicating with the city government.

Where do you fit in? Members and officers of the NAC are your neighbors who have chosen to become involved in important activities that affect our homes, our neighbors, and our city. Officers are elected annually and serve on a volunteer basis. There is always room for your participation and service too.

Here is a map of the City of Beaverton with all of the NAC highlighted, yours should be obvious! Click on the name of your NAC for more details.
